There is a lot of very lovely landscape here in North Northumberland and just over the border into Scotland. Some of it is wild, but much of it bears the imprint of long cultivation. I am very drawn to patterns such as field boundaries in the landscape. Many painters provide inspiration, including the contemporary painter, John McGlenaghan.
